All kids love to go someplace special to play, it's no different with your pet.  Most dogs love the opportunity to splash and in some cases swim in cool creeks and ponds on a hot summer day.  Or take a brisk walk on a shady wooded trail or run full speed in open private fields.  They even love playing and romping in the snow when we get it.
